Hot on the heels of its acquisition of video editing application Vegas Pro and other programs previosuly owned by MAGIX, the founder of BorisFX, Boris Yamnistsky tells me iZotope has joined with BorisFX.
In an open letter to users, he says, “iZotope is known for its smart and practical use of AI. Combined with Boris FX’s deep expertise in AI-driven audio and video tools, we’re positioned to move faster, innovate further, and create even more powerful tools for creative professionals.”
Confirmimng that existing commitements will stay in place, he further goes on to say, “I want to be clear about what this means for the Boris FX Suite of tools you rely on: our commitment to Sapphire, Continuum, Mocha Pro, Silhouette, SynthEyes, and the rest remains unchanged. We are not pivoting away from VFX or video editing. We’re expanding our mission into the other half of post-production. A stronger, bigger Boris FX means more investment in everything we make.”
