It is an exciting period for astronomy photographers as this time of year, the Galactic Core – the very centre of the Milky Way and its brightest part – can be seen, rising just before the dawn.
It will hang around for a few months, so if you are thinking of getting intoi this avenue of photography / video, this is a good time to start.
