Verbatim has launched a new family of SD and Micro SD cards that the company says are to meet the different needs of consumers.
Available in three ranges, Premium, Pro, and Pro+, the SD and microSD memory cards Verbatim says are designed to deliver reliable, high-performance storage for a wide variety of devices, from cameras and drones to gaming consoles and mobile devices.

The Premium range which is quite suitable for standard 1080p capture come in sizes from 16GB to 128GB and have read speeds of 90MB/s and rated as Class 10.
Conversely, the Class V30 Pro range has both 32GB and 64GB sizes with read speeds of 90MB/s and write speeds of 45MB/s.
The top of the range Class V30 Pro+ range has 64GB, 128GB and 256GB sized cards with read speeds of 90MB/s and write speeds of 80MB/s.
Prices range from to $9.95 for the 16GB Premium card $69 for the 256GB Pro+ card.
See Premium SD Cards – High-Speed, Reliable Storage | Verbatim for more information.
Note: While higher capacity cards are available from other vendors, take it from me they are not a wise idea, especially for video or photography.
Why? Because if, say you are running a 512GB (or higher) card and it fails – and they do – or you lose one – and you can – then EVERYTHING is gone. My own recommendation from sad personal experience involving a GoPro drone and Hervey Bay, is to use 4 x 128GB cards as against a 512GB card for example.
Trust me on this one!
