I just got an email from RØDE letting me know of the “third generation of the world’s most popular wireless microphone”.
To clarify, it’s the Wireless GO Gen 3, and is said to come with 32 bit float on-board recording, intelligent GainAssist technology and a host of “next gen features”. It has both USB-C and 3.5mm connectivity, so can be used equally with a smartphone or camera, plus headphone monitoring and plug-in power detect.
There is lots of new colours to choose from too.
I have asked for a review unit, so of course will fill you in more when and if I can acquire one.
