My favourite film of all time is 2001: A Space Odyssey. Written by Arthur C Clarke and directed by Stanley Kubrick, this film regulalry makes it into the top 3 of the best movies of all time.
The special effects are stunning – and this was w-a-y before the days of CGI. So I was delighted top find an After Effects tutorial showing a way of doing the famous “Stargate” sequence.
If you have never seen 2001, do yourself a favour, both as a movie lover and from the viewpoint of a filmmaker / videographer.
