Audio Hardware

The audio component of a video or film is often treated as a secondary thing. This of course is very wrong; audio is a major component, and having the right tools – hardware and software – is critical to get the best result.

These days, audio hardware is much more than just a microphone – of which in themselves there are many types available depending on the specific task at hand.

Also available today are sophisticated mixing consoles that only a few years back would have cost thousands, but today are available for a fraction of that.

And they are very powerful indeed with high-end functionality such as noise-gates and effects built right into them.

At Creative Content / Australian Videocamera, we try and cover all of the different areas of audio hardware, and you can find all the details on these pages.
