Nikon Australia Announces First-Ever Nikon Live Experience

Nikon Australia has announced the launch of its first-ever Nikon Live experience in Australia, located on 65 York Street, Sydney, for five days only. The event, available for a limited time only in Sydney, will offer a unique experience to photography and videography enthusiasts, and welcomes all hobbyists and curious spectators alike.

From 31 July to 4 August 2024, Nikon invites locals and visitors in Sydney to visit and experience the Nikon Live event, a five-day program designed to inspire and engage. Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to explore the latest Nikon products, including the highly anticipated Z6III camera and the Z NIKKOR 58mm f/0.95 S Noct lens.

Nikon Live will showcase the extensive product lineup available, allowing visitors to see and test, whilst also serving as a hub for photography and videography education and inspiration from the experts.

The Nikon Live Event will host a series of free and ticketed hands-on workshops and sessions led by top creatives in the industry, such as Rocco Ancora, Matty Smith, Julia Trotti, Wes Nel, Will Eades and Forough Yavari. Alongside this there will be a keynote from Ray Collins. These workshops aim to elevate content creation skills, covering a variety of techniques and styles.

Wedding Masterclass with Rocco Ancora
Kick off the event with an exclusive wedding photography masterclass led by Rocco Ancora, a prolific and awarded photographer with over 25 years in the industry. Attendees will gain insights into the Nikon Z series and master wedding photography through hands-on demonstrations and a live shoot featuring models.

Portraiture with Julia Trotti Masterclass
Julia Trotti, a renowned portrait and fashion photographer, will share her expertise through two sessions at 6 pm and 8 pm. Learn how to set up a camera for portraits, posing techniques with a model, and perfect lighting setups.

Keynote Speaker: Ray Collins
Ray Collins, an award-winning ocean photographer, will deliver a keynote at 7 pm. Renowned for his breathtaking seascapes, Ray will discuss his journey, achievements, and the tools he uses to capture the ocean’s beauty.

Videography with Wes Nel
Join Wes Nel, an accomplished photographer and videographer, as he showcases the Nikon Z6III’s capabilities. Focusing on autofocus, tracking, and low-light performance, Wes will conduct sessions at 6:15 pm and 8:15 pm.
