For more than 40 years I have been writing about and reviewing tech as well as creating tutorials (way back I wrote and directed the original Aussie video training for Microsoft Office, Windows 95, AutoCAD and more).
In that time I discovered one thing; no matter how advanced, how smart or how complex the tech becomes, the actual basics never change and this is expecially true in video and photography. The trouble is, some of this stuff beginners find a little tricky at times.
So I am putting together a series of 3 minute videos covering those basics, and I launched the first today – Creating Transparency In Images. This is useful for making titles and overlays as well as removing backgrounds.
