Power.
We can never have enough of it can we? Every gadget we have amassed over the years and go everywhere with us needs it, almost without exception.
Smartphones, smart watches, smart rings, cameras, wireless microphones, drones – you name it, they are all hungry for that delicious USB-C power.
Verbatim has at least one answer for this issue, it has solved the problem for me. It’s called the “Charge ‘n’ Go Two cable Power Bank with Display”. Not a snappy marketing name I’ll grant you, but I don’t really care as it fills my needs more than adequately.
Simple Concept
The concept is quite simple; start with a 10,000mAh power bank and put a TFT screen in it to tell you how much charge it has, how much is being pumped in when you are charging it or how much is being sucked out when it’s being used.
But here’s the clever bit. As well as a bidirectional USB-C in port for charging, not only are there a 22.5W USB-C out port to connect devices, but an additional two connected USB-C cables (22.5W and 12W) tucked away to power up an additional two devices.
But there is more; it also has a15W magnetic induction charging ring for smartphones, AirPods or Apple Watch. And it is MagSafe compatible.
All this is wrapped in a gun metal grey case with a pop out rear stand half the size of a Samsung smartphone that’ll cost you a miserable $99.
Conclusion
In short, I can easily charge my phone as well as say, my DJI Pocket 4P, the DJI Mini 2S Mic AND a battery for a DJI Flip drone all at the same time.
