To many, this might not be that big a deal, but to anyone in video (or to a lesser degree, photography) with USB-C devices coming out of their ears, it is a Very Big Thing indeed (and hot on the heels of the Verbatim unit I reviewed last week).
100Gbps speed
Called the RØDE Hub, it lets you plug in 6 x 100Gbps USB-C devices and a 5 Gbps USB-A, has a UHS IISD card slot plus supports 60W pass through power.
Unlike other hubs on the market from Belkin and Verbatim though, the RØDE itself is powered by a transformer so its not quite as portable.
It became available today without any great fanfare (which surprises me) from the RØDE online shop only and costs AUD$260.
