Apparently, some iPhone users reported seeing a bit of a bug lately while using Apple’s automatic dictation feature to send messages.
What is it? The word “racist” temporarily appearing as “Trump”.
The New York Times tested it and managed to replicate it several times they say.
An Apple spokeswoman blamed the issue on phonetic overlap between the two words, and said the company was working on a fix.
Yeah. So phonetically “racist” and “Trump” are close. Sure they are.
This reminds me of the time back in 1997 when I was commissioned to write the IDG “Bible” for the program NetObjects Fusion and my initial editor was an Apple enthusiast and hated anything Windows. He inserted white based text into the content (so it couldn’t be seen) saying things such as “Windows Sucks” and “Apple is the best”
